Goodstart Jones A3 Folder Bag

Our A3 Folder Bag is handmade in England for artists, students and makers who carry their best work everywhere. A fully padded, water-resistant main compartment keeps A3 sketchbooks, prints and portfolios flat and protected, closed with a two-way lockable zip.

Up front, a deep zipped pocket swallows pencils, chargers, notebooks and everything else you’d normally lose at the bottom of your bag. Tough Cordura outer, nylon webbing handles and a rubber Tarpex base mean it’s built for the commute, the studio floor and the long haul.

Carry it by hand, or clip on the detachable, adjustable shoulder strap. Four D-rings give you multiple ways to wear it, however your day is going.

Design Note


As an art and design lecturer, I wanted to create a bag that helped my students carry everything they needed to the studio and transport their work safely between home and class.

The solution was simple: combine a bag and a portfolio in one practical design. A single bag for studio essentials and creative work, ready for the journey there and back.
